Angeline Heilfort – Founder of KuschelRaum and Member of the Training & Leadership Team

Angeline – the „Cuddle Queen.“ This affectionate nickname was given to her by participants in KuschelRaum’s Conscious Cuddle Experiences.
As the founder of KuschelRaum, her passion is to make mindful touch more accessible and to help establish Cuddle Therapy as a respected profession. Her diverse background as an actress, massage therapist, trainer, and facilitator, combined with many years of experience in personal development, forms the foundation of her work and teaching.
Her mission is simple yet ambitious: to make the world a little more peaceful through mindful touch—one person, one session, and one training at a time.

I love the power of touch—offering it, sharing it, and being deeply touched in return. Nothing fulfills me more than creating meaningful human connection, sharing heartfelt moments, and laughing together. I believe that every one of us is on a lifelong journey of personal growth, guided by the courage to follow our own heart.
Each person chooses their own pace and their own path toward greater connection, joy, love, and authenticity. My role is not to change people. It is to create safe, compassionate spaces where they can discover themselves, reconnect with their bodies, and experience the transformative power of mindful touch.

For the past several years, I have been building KuschelRaum and developing a growing community of professionals dedicated to mindful touch. My vision is to make compassionate, respectful touch more accessible and to help establish Cuddle Therapy as a recognized and professional field.
The foundation of my work is built on more than 25 years of experience as a massage therapist, together with my background as a trainer, coach, and mediator.
Meeting Dr. Betty Martin and learning the Wheel of Consent profoundly transformed my understanding of touch. Since then, one principle has guided everything I do: to honor the body’s boundaries, wishes, and autonomy—without compromise.
Experiencing the transformative power of this work in my own life continues to inspire me every day. One of Betty Martin’s guiding principles has become one of mine as well:

„Don’t settle for okay. Either love it—or leave it.“

Whether I am teaching, facilitating Conscious Cuddle Experiences, offering Cuddle Therapy, coaching, or training future professionals, my intention is always the same: to create a space that is safe, clear, compassionate, and filled with genuine human connection—and, whenever possible, a good sense of humor.

I have always been a generalist. My professional path has been shaped by curiosity, continuous learning, and the desire to understand people from many different perspectives.
As an actress, I have worked in film, television, and improvisational theatre. For more than a decade, I have taught workshops for students, trainers, and leaders, focusing on presentation skills, communication, leadership, and personal impact.
Bodywork has been another cornerstone of my career. I am trained in a wide range of massage modalities, including Shiatsu, Tantric Massage, and other therapeutic approaches. Living in a tantric ashram, where I completed a two-year training in facilitating women’s groups, profoundly influenced both my personal development and my professional work.
For more than twenty years, I have immersed myself in personal growth, studying yoga, psychology, the Enneagram, shadow work, tantra, and many other approaches to human development. Throughout this journey, one conviction has become stronger than ever: there is no universal path to self-discovery—only your own.

My deepest intention is to create spaces where people feel safe enough to explore themselves, reconnect with their bodies, and move through meaningful processes at their own pace. Whether through Cuddle Therapy, coaching, bodywork, or professional training, my work is always about genuine human connection. Everything I have learned flows into my teaching, allowing different disciplines to enrich one another and creating a holistic approach to mindful touch and personal development.

My Greatest Teachers and Inspirations

Among the people who have most deeply influenced my work are David Deida, Margot Anand, Dr. Betty Martin, Blandine Maria Wegener, Uriel Yariv, Diane Richardson, Sasha Cobra, Robert Silber, Chandana Manohara, Andrea and Veit Lindau, Chameli Ardagh, Robert A. Johnson, Maitreyi D. Piontek, Shashi Solluna, and many others.

The Wheel of Consent®, developed by Dr. Betty Martin, provides a clear framework for creating safety, awareness, autonomy, and clarity in touch-based work. It has become one of the cornerstones of my teaching and professional practice.
